Namibia's landscapes go on forever and ever. Even when using a panoramic technique, the scale and beauty of these landscapes is difficult to capture. I was traveling through Namibia's Sossusvlei and had been walking through Dead Vlei from as early as 5am that morning. It was misty and somewhat overcast. After taking thousands of photo's in the Dead Vlei I climbed back up the dunes and as I reached the top, the morning sun broke through. The result can be seen in the millions of different pastel shades. From orange to blue and pink in between.
Unfortunately I had no one to share the moment with but I sat there for a long time just watching the light play tricks on the dunes, with the shadows moving like dark organic creatures in between. Far in the distance I watched the single file of people making their way up the dune. Something to always remember.

What a fantastic shot. It took me awhile to notice the people walking along the crest of the dune which gives this some scale.

Thanks Michael. Yeah its difficult to see the people thats why I needed to create a good title and a story to draw people in.
