The Brandywine River in Wilmington DE,. winds its way through Alapocas State Park. The the old DuPont Powder Mills, Hagley Museum and this park are some of the gems along the way. Abandoned factories and a lot of history lie hidden throughout. This formation lies beneath a footbridge along a hiking trail. I decided to give HDR a try with my D7000. I've had it for about two years but haven't dabbled into the HDR game much lately. Shot in manual mode, this is a combination of 5 images tone mapped in photomatix pro 4 with post edit in Aperture.
