Beautiful shot! Wow! What a powerful concept, especially when paired with the title. This picture belongs in a Hard Rock Cafe museum.

Consider to participate in the challenge: "Can you hear the music?" Beautiful shot, reading your text it doesn't convey nearby" a busy highway :) Good weekend to you.

Location
I shot this photo in a wheat field along a busy highway in DelawareTime
It was around mid morningLighting
Obviously it was natural light. The combination of clouds and trees kept the harsh morning sun at bay long enough for me to get the right exposure. I shot about a dozen images at various angles. This one best captured the idea I wanted to convey.Equipment
Shot with a Nikon D50, 18-55mm hand held no flash.Inspiration
I always keep an eye out for locations or something that can be used in a creative way. That doesn't always pan out for me. In this case I spotted this field while coming home from work and simply thought "I wonder how my guitar would look in the middle of all that?" It just came to me. I often have these spur of the moment ideas but circumstances often prevent me from following through on them. The more I visualized the warm tones of the wheat and the colors on my guitar I knew I had to capture this image. The title fit. A quality American made product.Editing
I adjusted the saturation a bit and sharpened the image. That's about it.In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D50 and my go to D7000. Lenses include: 85mm 1.8, 70-200mm, 18-55mm SB 600 flash, various filters, extra batteries, SD cards, Gary Fong light sphere and pencil and paper for notes and reminders.Feedback
I would say don't hold back on any idea that comes to mind. You can envision an idea but until you capture it, you will never really know how it will turn out or what the potential for not only that idea, but others that you may have. In my case, I have too many family obligations that need my attention so many of the ideas I have are "on paper" waiting to be explored. If you see something - anything that your mind runs with, get to it. Put it together and capture it. The final result may not be what you expect but the experience will benefit you as you try, fail, experiment and grow. It will only help you improve your skills as a photographer.
