I've photographed this piece of driftwood before. However, it didn't give anyone any idea of the size. So I had my husband, who is 6'4" walk towards it. This was taken 10/23/2015 with very rough water in the Gulf of Mexico, being stirred up by Hurricane Patricia coming across Mexico. The times we had been there before, we could have driven our Suburban under it. We could not even get on the beach this time.
