Thank you. Sadly it was the wrong time of the year for snow. This mountain has had a few "lives" being previously called Mount Egmont before having its Maori name returned and then in a movie as a substitute for Mt Fuji! It is a stunning place.

Really great shot ! I was there last year and don't remember seeing the volcano. I'm guessing you were shooting from a high point? Love the mood and detail .

Thanks for that. It must have been a hazy day when you were there as Mt Taranaki is the main landmark wherever you go in New Plymouth. I think I actually crouched down when the shot was taken.
