This photo was taken at the backyard garden at my parents house, it was a very rainy day that day and the moment that it was dry I went outside.Time
I'm very fond of this photo an maybe it proud because even though it was a very rainy and quite awful that day, I took a lovely photograph. It was probably around 2 p.m when I shot this, it was dry at the time a shot this but only moments after, the rain came down again. My camera was perfectly dry but I was soaked.Lighting
There is really not much to tell about the lighting. It was mid day, there was no sun, just a thick layer of clouds which did provide for saturated light. But other than that there is nothing else to tell.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS 70D and a Tamron 60mm F2 1:1,Inspiration
I love rain, flowers and macrophotography, so every time its raining I take my camera out and look for close up scenery. The reason I took this photograph is because all the flowers were soaked in water except this one, it only had a drop of water on the end of a pellet. There was something sereen about it.Editing
I did something in post, but not much. I added some sharpness so that the waterdrop would pop some more and I flatend the colors some because I thought that this photograph needed to be a bit softer to be more sereen. In my camera bag
I always bring my DSLR, the Canon EOS 70D, with a Canon EF 70-200 F2.8, Samyang 10MM T3.1 and my macrolens, a Tamron 60mm F2 1:1. This is all I use, and I can switch lenses at every opportunity to fit the lens that fits to that particular subject or scenery.Feedback
A big tip that I also give to other is to not only look for beautiful scenery when you travel, because I hear from quite a few fokes that there is only beautiful nature in other countries, but there is not! Its all around you if you are willing to see. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true.
