What a gorjissssss image. You have managed to get oodles of texture in the various petals , natural triangles all over and lovely waterdrops , that, somehow, also formed triangles with the shape of the petals. Well done!

Location
I took it in Saint Clairsville, OH in my aunts flower garden before the tulip was in full bloom.Time
It was early afternoon about 1 or 2 pm.Lighting
I wanted this the bloom to be the main focus with a darker background, as it was taken with a cell phone the easiest way to achieve that affect was shooting with flash even though it was sunny at the time.Equipment
I actually used a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active with the flash enabled for the shot. Typically I use my professional camera gear but lately I have taken to experimenting with cell phone photography.Inspiration
I shoot a lot of portraiture and anything outside of that I do for fun and relaxation. This spring I decided to shoot a variety of flora just to really practice and really experiment with cell phone photography and it's variations.Editing
Yes, I did a crop in lightroom as well as a minor clarity adjustment and I slightly desaturated the coloring to something that really spoke to me.In my camera bag
In my day photography bag I have my canon t3i, tamron 24-75 mm f 2.8 lens, 50mm prime lens, 14-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens as well as a shutter release, extra batteries and a speedlight. Of course my bag changes given the event or location I am shooting. Sometimes my rig will have ice lighting as well as strobe lights, tripods and second bodies. But on my typical day I can be found mainly with my canon.Feedback
Always have your eyes open. Photography is about seeing what others do not, as photographers we get to show the world our unique perspective which is a really cool honor because photography can transcend the language barrier.
