Location
I took this photo in the Vatican Museum - Rome, I was really lucky because there was not many tourist around.Time
I don't remember exactly the time but probably between 2 and 5pmLighting
It was a soft light environment, impossible use tripod for the particular POV, I could only work on the ISO.Equipment
I have a modest Nikon D80 and a nice Sigma 10-20 mm 4/5.6, I got my flash gun Nikon SB900 but in this location (museum) I couldn't even take out of the folder.Inspiration
It was a really strange day, I was visiting the museum with my girlfriend, I took many many pictures around but incredibly, I knew that I didn't get any good work. This stairs are in the end of the museum and when I saw it was like a oasis in the desert for me, I understood before to shoot that it was the Photo !!!Editing
I really love HDR photography especially for interior & Architectural photos. This is probably one of my best work (not my favourite).... The problem was that without tripod, in that position, was very hard to take multiple shot in bracketing, ... harder is the shot better is the photo!!!In my camera bag
My Nikon D80, sigma 10-20 mm 4/5.6, Nikkor 60 mm 2.8, ALWAYS a tripod, often my Nikon SB900 flush gun and trigger control for flash and for camera.Feedback
I love Architectural photography , deep prospective, perfect composition but different & experimental POV give something more to my work, never shot if is exactly the same as your eyes can see.
