Little tiger on the prowl. Awesome capture, love the textures of kitten fur and the wood. Fish eye gives a sense that this kitten is on a mission! Better get the Fancy Foods out for it.

This is fabulous! A great idea to photograph a tiny kitten with a fisheye. Processing is also outstanding, with great detail in the fur and vivid colour. I love how the kitten has one leg forward, advancing towards, almost stalking the camera.
Thanks for sharing this image.

This is wonderful! I just love the curiosity of baby animals (especially cats) and little children. They bring such joy, and this is a great shot of a kitten saying "Hey, what are you doing?"

Location
I took this photo at a friend's place. I knew there were some kittens there and I wanted to give it a try.Time
The shooting started at late afternoon because the terrace there would deliver the best conditions for light then.Lighting
It was an easy choice to take the terrace in the afternoon for the shooting for a nice ambient lighting and a far away background for a nice bokeh.Equipment
Canon 5d Mk II Canon 15/2.8 FisheyeInspiration
I've had a ground level fisheye shot of a kitten in my mind for a long time and just took my chance. But you need some luck because you can't plan how the kittens will move and I wanted to capture its first outdoor adventure...so you can see its curiosity in its eyes, but also also that it doesn't feel very secure and I also liked its paw moving towards me.Editing
I've cropped the picture, used a black & white overlay layer for some more details and tuned the tones and contrast a little plus did some sharpening. In my camera bag
Canon 5d Mk IV Canon 16-35/4 L IS SIGMA 85/1.4 Art SIGMA 120-30O/2.8 OS Sports SIGMA 180/2.8 macro Tripod, bean bag ND Filters, gradient filters, polarization filterFeedback
Sometimes you just have to take your chances on a lucky shot...even if it seems almost impossible - on this day I was a lucky guy to take this picture. It came almost the way I've imagined in advance - perhaps even better.
