Location
This is a table top image which i set up for a camera club creative competition which it won, always good to win.Time
The time of day in this case is of no consequence as it was an internal shot.Lighting
This shot was lit by day light from a window.Equipment
Nikon D750 with a 28 to 300 mm lens.Inspiration
Wanted something different with pencils and I saw the sharpener as the part of a zip and everything just fell into place.Editing
post process consisted of a crop to centralise the zip.In my camera bag
I carry Lee filters 10, 6 and 3 grads plus a polariser. I also keep a sigma 10 to 20 available.Feedback
You need to visualise the image you want to capture then gather the items and set it up, you will find that as you set up you will develop the image, but do try to keep it simple and have a clear focal point for the eye. In my image nothing is an accident the order of the pencils the background colour are all arranged not random.
