Location
Was taken from the middle of the crowd at the Point depot in Dublin, just before Alice Cooper came on stage for one of his tracks.Time
Was in the evening, probably about 9pm.Lighting
Think I was really lucky catching the lights rising and the shadows cast with the hands. It was generally a well lit stage, but I think this captures the joy of the crowd more.Equipment
iPhone 4s, the same as many others in the audience that night!Inspiration
Wanted to catch Alice Cooper with the spotlight on him, which I did a bit later on, but when I looked back over the photos I liked the emotion and appreciation that came through from the crowd in anticipation of the artist.Editing
No post processing. Straight from the iPhone. In my camera bag
Nowadays I use a Canon 5D MkIII, 17-40mm f4, 24-105mm f4, 70-200mm f4 and the iPhone 6s. This is an invaluable tool when paired with the right App, such as sunrise/sunset timers, stellar trackers etc. something everyone should consider.Feedback
Take lots of photos digitally, but you should always review and check out ones you may realise you didn't want to take, sometimes there's a bit of luck too. You can erase what you don't like so don't worry about taking more than you need.
