Wow! What a great moment capturing shot! Such emotion in the dogs face and it's great that the mans face isn't in it but you've got enough of him in there to show the love of the two :)) truly mans best friend, what a shot! Well done.

Location
This photo, which is one of my very favorites ever, was taken at the dog park.Time
It was taken around the middle of a beautiful, winter day.Lighting
Being a new photographer, I was still teaching myself about lighting. Luckily, the natural lighting was perfect for me!Equipment
I had just bought my Canon Rebel. No flash or tripod was used and the lens was the lens that came with the camera - a 18-55 mmInspiration
We had just adopted our wonderful dog, Coco! We were so in love with her, we wanted to take her to the dog park to play with other dogs and let her run around. I wanted to get some photos of her and the other dogs with my new camera. She was loving it! My husband and I sat down at a picnic table while Coco ran around...sniffing..if you know what I mean, and all of a sudden, this very friendly dog came up to my husband and plopped his legs in his lap and wanted to sniff his face. It was like he was saying- Hi! Who are you? My husband said, "Well hello there!" I started laughing and quickly bent over and snapped their photo. Then our new friend went on his merry way!Editing
When I went home to look at my new treasures of photos, this one popped out to me! It was so beautiful and says so much. I was new at editing so I didn't do much post-processing. Adjusting the color and brightness was all that was needed. In my camera bag
In my camera bag, I have the camera with lots of various lenses that I have slowly acquired. I keep cleaning supplies in the bag for the lenses, also.Feedback
As a photographer, just always be ready for any situation. I didn't go to the dog park to take photos of my husband- but hey, it happened and it happened so quickly. Never did I think when I bent over and snapped that photo, that it would be one of our favorites as a family. I printed and framed it for our family wall of photos!
