I have a studio that I created in the upstairs of my home. This is where I took this photo.Time
It was in the middle of the day, because the light from the window is so perfect!Lighting
The lighting was all natural from my window. It was the middle of the day, which was sunny. It is a West window so in the middle of the day, the light is perfect!Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel, no flash, and macro lens.Inspiration
These are my son's guitars. His love of music and guitars inspired me to take numerous pictures of a few of them. I loved the acoustic quitar with the modern electric! The colors also inspired me!Editing
I have an HDR program for my Canon, on my computer. I saturated the color slightly.In my camera bag
I carry my telephoto lens, macro lens, battery charger, lens cleaner, and some filters.Feedback
Take what you love and set it up, ready for picture taking. Give yourself lots of time- get comfortable and relax. Enjoy taking various angles, different subjects (I used several different guitars), vary the lighting. Have fun with it- and then check out what you got! It's fun to take 75 or more pictures, but be ready, you might only like, really like, a couple. But it is all worth it!
