Congratulations. I voted for this one. Really pulls at my camping heatstrings. Will have to go next summer.

Your work is very diverse. This is great storytelling...poetic and concise.

Location
This image was taken at the K Bar Z Ranch in the Beartooth Mountains of Wyoming.Time
This was taken around 8:30 p.m. local time just after sunset, on July 15th, 2015.Lighting
There was a lantern in the tent and the last light of the sun was on the horizon.Equipment
I shot this with my Fuji X-T1 with the 18-55mm lens. The focal length was 24.3 mm. Exposure was 1/8 of a second at f/4.0, ISO 640. I used a tripod due to the low light.Inspiration
I was on a Cowboy and Wild Horse photography trip, and this shot was taken as part of a cowboy camp set-up.Editing
I use Adobe Camera Raw to adjust the RAW file, then I use Photoshop PSCS 6 where I tweak the image with a few Nik plug-ins.In my camera bag
For travel, I used the Fuji Mirrorless system, and have a Nikon D 300 with a longer range lens for wildlife (the 80-400mm). I have recently switched from the Fuji system to the Sony A 7II. I now use either the Sony or the Nikon when traveling, depending on what I am shooting. For certain places, I also will bring along my converted infared Nikon D 800, with the 24-120 mm lens.Feedback
