Location
This photo was taking while lost in Loomberah, NSWTime
It was in the early after noon on our way to a local footy game in Dungowan, NSWLighting
It was really the perfect day for this photo, sun was shinning just right and all the colours and detail stood out.Equipment
I used my canon 1100D along with my 18-55mm lens, also canon.Inspiration
We had just drove up to a Wedge Tailed Eagle eating on the side of the road. I quickly tried getting a photo before it took off but that is when it flew in the direction of a pretty country site. I just had to show case!Editing
I use Photoshop Elements 11 for editing this image. I adjusted it so there would appear to be a HDR effect also removing unwanted scenery such as grass seeds. In my camera bag
My bag is always containing the basic cleaning gear, but the cameras and lens always change depending on what I'm shooting.Feedback
I believe I got lucky with this shot, like I said the lighting was perfect, so there was less effort on my end. I didn't need to use a tripod, but would be a good idea to have one on the ready just in case.
