I took this sometimes before sunset on July 25, 2014Lighting
About Sunset under the pier gets dark and so using the slower shutter speed with tripod and preferably the remote the pictures come out pretty good and ghosty.Equipment
Nikon D800E, Nikkor 24-120 3.5, and tripod.Inspiration
I walk at the beach and a lot of photographers hang out to shoot the pier, specially before the sunset. At high tide the waves crash to the pillars and how strong they've been standing tall.Editing
This is a 7 bracket and 1 stop and 7 layers combined. No other adjustments have been done.In my camera bag
Camera, a couple of lenses, and remote and sometimes the tripod.Feedback
shoot what interest you, and don't be afraid to use new styles and techniques, do them over and over till you master them.
