Location
This shot was taken while I was flying my drone over a dam in Missouri.Time
I took this image about an hr before sunset in late February, so it was about five in the evening.Lighting
The lighting was poor, it was an overcast and cloudy day. But I was so excited to finally have a drone that I didn't let that stop me.Equipment
I used my DJI Mavic Mini, no filter.Inspiration
This was one of my first photos taken with my drone. I really love taking shots of roads with my drone, I just find them so interesting and unique.Editing
I don't really do much post-processing to be honest. I did however use a "preset" photoshop filter to brighten up the image some and bring the colors out. I would love to learn more about photoshop and other post editing software in the future. In my camera bag
In my bag I always carry my trusty Canon EOS 7D, two Pentax K100's (one for color and one for black and white film), DJI Mavic Mini Drone, Canon 24-70mm f/4L IS, Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS, Tamron SP 45mm f/1.8 VC, Manfrotto tripod, shutter release with remote and various ND filters, variable ND filters, extra batteries, chargers, a headlamp and two lenseballs.Feedback
Besides the obvious of make sure you get a good drone. I pretty much always have the same answer to this question. I taught myself photography over the course of about two or three years but I'm still learning all the time. I don't claim to have all the answers when it comes to photography. I also believe that composition comes to me naturally, so in that aspect I'm very fortunate. But once you develop your own style and favorite things to photograph, try to not just focus on that but go outside of your comfort zone and try new things and challenge yourself. To me that really made me a better photographer.
