Old remnants

What was interesting about Cottonwood Lake No. 5 was that there were a lot of snags. The gales of wind sweeping through the area almost nonstop have definitely contributed to the demise of the trees. Now only short pines trees remaining, who knows when they’ll completely disappear. For now some of these old remnants of the tall trees offered amazing composition opportunities, as the sun was slowly rising high to combat the strong winds that just started picking up after a short lived morning calm at sunrise.
