Just came back for a quit stop in Hong Kong over the weekend. As I always have jet lag when I'm flying to Asia, I gave the sunrise shot from the peek another try. I'm now trying for 6 years to see a sunrise and this time it "almost" happened. The actual sun wasn't visible but the reflection and the colors were there.
For all who are interested to do so as well: Check the sunrise time and than take a taxi (during winter time the bus 15 could operate early enough). Next to the peek tower is the peek trail which leads after around 20min walk to a platform where most of the people shoot the shot. My favorite is around 100m earlier - a bit different angle. Just have a look and choose for yourself.
