As written at the last picture, since a long time I wanted to visit Stockholm to shoot the world known metro stations. Almost every station is painted on strong colors and-or shows a lot of artistic artwork.
This one is the "Rådhuset T-bana" station. Looks a bit similar to the last one but the color at the roof is much less red - more a light orange.

Since a long time I wanted to visit Stockholm to shoot the world known metro stations. Almost every station is painted on strong colors and/or shows a lot of artistic artwork. This one is the "Rådhuset T-bana" station. Looks a bit similar to the also very known one "Solna Centrum" but the color at the roof is much less red - more a light orange.Time
Time does not really matter in Metro Station - but similar to other places - very early and very late is less crowded. I choose the late version...Lighting
Take your time to enjoy the scene and the incredible atmosphere.Equipment
The foto was shot on a tripod with a Canon 5D III with a 11-24mm. Aperture: f/9, ISO: 100, Shutter Speed: 2/1, Focal Length: 15/1Inspiration
I was aware of the very known Solna Centrum Station which is colored more in a darker red. When I was finally visiting Stockholm I figured quickly out that almost every Station is super special. I'm wondering if I was more under the ground than above ;). Great thing - weather does not matter.Editing
The picture was modified in Photoshop the get more dynamic range into it. As the contrast is very high between the lights and the rest, I had to do a manual blend of more than one picture. I really like this method in my photography, especially for sunset and sunrises - even if it takes you sometimes hours. In my camera bag
When I travel I normally carry: Canon EOS 5D Mark III, EF11-24mm f/4L USM, EF24-70mm F/2.8L USM II, EF70-200mm F/2.8L USM II, Gitzo Travel Tripod, Lee Big Stopper Filter, Batteries and CF Cards. Depending on the destination I add more Tele mm or let even the 70-200mm behind.Feedback
As always - be patient. There will be the perfect moment with or without people. Take also you time to try different angles, focal length and positions.
