Gorgeous! Looks like the edge of the world and yet there is a serene peacefulness about it. Very interesting.

Has a fascinating surreal quality. I particularly like the duality of mechanical oh the left ant ethereal of the right. Thanks for sharing. I’ll be looking for this kind of duality in future shots.

I love the mist on the rock, but add that fence and the frame seems to go on for ever. Great job !!!!

Location
It's a wonderful spot looking out The Thames estuary into the North Sea. It's part of the east coast of England that's owned by the MoD.Time
It was a morning and the tides were good. I'd gone to the area to photograph a groyn that needs the tide just right. While waiting I walked a little more to this lovely spot.Lighting
It was a bright morning but there were plenty of fast moving clouds, ideal for long exposure photography.Equipment
This was taken with my Nikon DSLR and wide angle lens. It's a great set up that I'm often using. Formatt Hitech filters were used for the long exposure and a Manfrotto tripod to hold it all steady.Inspiration
I love long exposure seascapes. Having taken many before I'm always looking out for inturesting compositions. This fence breaks up the smooth water with its rugged lines. Ideal.Editing
I used silver efex to convert it to black and white and then Lightroom to give it the split tone effect, I think it works on this photo well.In my camera bag
I'm always carrying my ND filters and tripod with me. I love long exposure photography so never want to miss a chance. A selection of prime lenses from 18mm to 135mm. I decided last year that I don't want to use zoom lenses any more. Primes have certainly helped me improve as a photographer.Feedback
To get a good long exposure shot you need good filters and s sturdy tripod. Always use manual focus to get the correct part of the image sharp. A good quality prime lens is ideal. Make sure you get the calculations correct for the exposure and use a remote release.
