Behind The Lens

Location

This is Bassano del Grappa, a city in north-east of Italy.

Time

I patiently waited for the sunset and shot about 30 minutes after the sun went down.

Lighting

Just beautiful natural light here!

Equipment

I used a Sony a7S with a 24-70 mm lens with an ND filter on it and a tripod resting on the river bed.

Inspiration

The bridge you can see in the picture is an old and historic one and I wanted to shoot it for a long time. When I finally had the opportunity to go to Bassano, I coundn't come home without this picture!

Editing

Just normal work around on lightroom and a LUT applyed on the image in Photoshop.

In my camera bag

I usually take my Sony a7S with a 16-35 mm Zeiss lens and a Sony RX10 III, a tripod, an eMotimo TB3 for timelapses and a couple of ND filters.

When you visit a place, always check for nice landmarks. Almost every cities offer something interesting, so don't miss the opportunity to shoot it!
