Location
I took this photo in Milano, Italy. This arch is called "Arco della Pace" and it's one of the main monuments of the city.Time
It was about 6 PM on a cold winter day.Lighting
Just natural blue hour light and city lights.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Sony a7S and a 24-70 mm lens on a tripod.Inspiration
Actually I was shooting an hyperlapse for a project of mine and this shot is just one frame of the sequence.Editing
Yes, I have to say that I removed about 12 people who were standing in front of the monument and disturbed my shot. Except for that, I did a basic color correction and gave an extra grading in Photoshop. In my camera bag
I usually take my Sony a7S with a 16-35 mm Zeiss lens and a Sony RX10 III, a tripod, an eMotimo TB3 for timelapses and a couple of ND filters.Feedback
I love the colors of the city when the lights just turned on, because you can still benefit from the natural light which helps getting nice colors in the sky and a nice depth all over the image. Thus, shoot a lot during the blue hour!
