How did you get permission to get in that building? I couldn't. Who did you have to ask?
I have a few B&W 120mm shots of Bodie, too.

Location
Bodie State Historical Park , Bodie CaliforniaTime
Around mid afternoon on a partly cloudy/Overcast dayLighting
Overcast days or days with some cloud cover. are some of my most preferable to shoot outdoors if you. are forced to shoot at midday....nice even ,relitivly shadowless, ..or softer shadows ,Lower contrast lighting can be a god sendEquipment
I used a 35mm Ziess Ikon range finder With an Excellent Carl Ziess 45mm Leaf Shuttter lens with a polarizing filter on a Velbon Tripod utilizing the Hyperfocal focusing technique @ f/22Inspiration
I wanted to shoot this often Shot very much photographed iconic church in a way that was different from the 100's of published and exibited photos done of it before by literally thousands of photoraphers before me and after meEditing

Think outside the box...way outside the box dont be afraid to try something different ...unlike back then digital photography is basicly free you have nothing to loose but time and in all liklyhood will learn something new ...even if you fail "You don't take a photograph....You make a photograph"....Ansel Adams
