I took this photo in my room, I have a round mirror on the wall and I thought the light was very soft so I decided to take a self-portrait.Time
It was sometime in the late afternoon, during the winter.Lighting
The lighting is completely natural, it was during the winter, so the sunset light looks very gentle but it illuminates my hair in a very nice way. The bokeh that is visible all around it's the reflexion in the mirror of plants and vases posed in front of the mirror and lighten by the sun.Equipment
I used Nikon D800 to take this self-portrait, with a 50mm lens.Inspiration
I'm always inspired by the light, especially sunsets and sunrises, I just love them ! But I'm also pretty crazy about all sorts of mirrors, they fascinate me !Editing
I edited this picture in Photoshop, nothing major, just used the color curves. In my camera bag
I always have my 50mm 1/4 Nikkor lens and Nikon camera. I used for about 10 years Nikon D800 that was perfect, sadly it died of its' old age not that long ago so I got the Nikon D780 that I really love !Feedback
I guess I'll say that mirrors are very magical things, try to look in different ones and you will discover something interesting every time. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like I am always looking very odd in different mirrors, some of them are very nice and gentle and some of them have this stranger looking at me, that I've never met before...
