Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a beach in Helsinki just before the sunset. We were just about to leave because it was getting cold but it seems this day definitely saved the best for last.

Time

Just before the sunset.

Lighting

This is pure natural light, the sun was straight in front of the model.

Equipment

I used Canon EOS 6D and Sigma 135mm Art lens.

Inspiration

I love how the wind caught in her hair, how serene she looked and how the sun made the stones in her dress sparkle.

Editing

This image was originally in color so I made it black and white and also increased the contrast.

In my camera bag

I always have my trusty Canon EOS 6D, Canon 50mm lens and Sigma 85mm art.

Feedback

Shoot in natural light and wait until the sunlight is not too harsh anymore, for the model to be able to face it directly.
