Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the Austrian Alps, during a lovely day out. You can often encounter deers arround. It was still morning, so there was plenty of mist/fog arround, especially in between the hills, which gave that magical feeling to the photo.

Time

It was late morning, and due to high humidity there was still plenty of mist arround.

Lighting

Lighting was completely natural, no flash was used.

Equipment

Nikon D3200 and Tamron 18-200mm lens, hand held camera.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the beauty of the nature, untouched and not ruined by the hand of men.

Editing

Besides some base corrections, I decided to discard the colors, as I thought black and white will work better in such misty scenery.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3200, Tamron 18-200mm lens, Nikon 50mm prime lens, little tripod, remote shutter release, extra battery and plenty of SD cards.

Feedback

You have to be or extremly lucky or extremly patient to wait for something like this to come up. so it's better to always be ready when you're out in the nature. You never know what you might find. It's important to know your camera, as in those situations that often last for a moment, you have no time for mistakes.
