This photo was captured in my home studio, I was in the process of setting up light for a photo shoot and siezed the opportunity to have some fun whilst testing.Time
It was early morning, however this made no difference as I had complete control of the lighting in my studio.Lighting
Keep it simple, dont overdo anything and break some photography rules, it's far more fun. This was a single light softbox to my upper left side on a grey backdrop.Equipment
The camera was my D800 which was set on a tripod around 4ft away from me, I used a remote trigger to fire the shot. Lighting was one Elinchrom D-lite attached to a soft box.Inspiration
I guess I was just bored of the same old selfies, I'd taken many of them before and thought this time I wanted people to see my personality for change, I think it helps people relax around you whilst knowing they'll still recieve professional images.Editing

Always my Nikon cameras and speed lights, a mixture of lenses and cleaning kit, I try and carry lite whenever possible.Feedback
Just go for it, don't be afraid to get things wrong becuase sometimes they turn out to be your best work. Life is far to serious, let your imagination run free.
