Some info about Birla Ganapati Temple :
Lord Ganesh's idol is almost 1000 tonnes with a 72-foot height.
The base is 54x54x18 ft. All these dimensions were planned in such a way that they add up to the number 9, considered auspicious. There are a total of 179 steps, and they are easy to climb.
On January 17, 2009, the company was founded. This is a Birla family establishment and the idol was sculpted and created by Maturam Verma and Nareshkumar Verma (father and son) of Pilani, Rajasthan, India. It took 2 years for construction.
The tall idol's construction is done with cement, concrete, and copper. This is a very beautiful view for the people who are travelling on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway.
