Checking your exposure settings when a bird has a white head is a must.Equipment
Canon EOS, R5, 500mm, prime lens with 1.4 adapter. Hand held. F/8, 1/800 sec shutter speed, ISO 200.Inspiration
I love wildlife photography, especially birds. Often eagles dig in the ice to find a fish to eat. This particular eagle worked for quite a while to dig up a lillypad leaf!Editing
I usually post process in Lightroom and photoshop. This photo needed cropping and a bare minimum of exposure adjustments. In my camera bag
At least one Wide angle, 1 100-400mm zoom, 500 prime and a macro lens are always in my bag. In addition I carry extra batteries and cards, lens cleaner and binoculars.Feedback
