Coastal Architectural photography using leading lines and a low POV . Taken at the entrance to the pretty seaside town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey , off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. This row of rainbow painted Victorian houses is quite tricky to capture in it's brightly coloured splendour because of its position and organisation. The terrace itself is on a corner and though appearing straight at first glance has both a backward tilt and a slight curve to allow for a corner between themselves and the harbour wall. Managing to get the full row of houses into the frame with a less tilted aspect is , therefore , quite problematic as the sea wall prevents the possibility to get the right distance and height to get the optimal shot . This composition was eventually achieved by lying on the ground pressed at a side angle to the sea wall with just enough upward angle to the lens to reduce the effect of time and the slight hill they sit upon to make them appear to be falling away from the sea.
