Abstract minimalist landscape photography using all the gifts of natural light and shadow created by Nature , proving that Nature is the Artist and we are the observers of that work living in the hope that we can do justice to it in our own creative endeavours. This Seascape was taken at the beginning of the golden hour as the sun began to set on a beautiful winter's day at low tide on a small secluded beach where the village of Llanfachraeth meets the sea on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. The textural elements of the sand with its unique patterns formed by the effect of the tidal water produce interesting reflective pools allowing a mirroring of the sky and clouds above in each tiny strand of seawater. The sands troughs and peaks also enhancing the atmospheric feeling of drama and movement by adding contrasting shadows in the natural light . Cloud formations along with the reflected sunlight along the middle of the image produce a soft vanishing point allowing the eye to be drawn into the photograph creating a feeling of movement through the landscape for the viewer.
