Action photography at the funfair. 'Folie a Deux', is a French psychological term used to describe a shared extreme experience , dream or hallucination , translated it basically means a , 'Madness of Two '. If there is anytime show their emotional reaction of a shared extreme event it has to be during the mutual experience of a fast moving funfair ride , just like this group of teenagers were displaying here. I called this photograph , ' Folie a Onze', simply because rather than two people taking part in an act of madness there are eleven. Taken from ground level using continuous shooting and wide angle settings this composition was created using leading lines to tell the story of a shared experience at high speed through the variety of facial expressions on the faces of these crazy participants. The Folly of Youth in full throttle action.
