Wildlife in Action Nature photography. A pair of preening flamingos taken in early morning light by the banks of Fuente de Piedra, the largest natural lake on the Iberian Peninsula in Southern Spain. A moment ticked off my bucket list of places I wanted to visit kindly organised for my recent birthday treat. although I took many photographs with my Nikon , I caught this whilst scoping out my shots with my Canon HS730 because of the great zoom capacity it has for a standard point and shoot camera. Taken from a low pov some distance away and using shallow depth to highlight the beautiful feathers whilst blurring back any of the distracting background detail , and rather producing a tranquil contrasting green glow.nt
