The San Diego Zoo goes to great lengths to protect its Bonobos. They do this by keeping them a great distance from you and have the viewing areas enclosed in glass. So, you either must go through a lot of gymnastics to get a shot, as often the equipment in their area blocks views or you must hope that somehow, they will come closer to you. In this case, it was the former. These two were in the furthest reaches of their habitat and I had to crouch down to shoot under some of the equipment that blocked my view while hand holding my camera.

Shot with my Nikon Z7 with FTZ adapter and my non-Z 300 mm f-4 PF lens. f-4.5, 1-250, ISO 180, Manual Mode. Processed in Nikon Studio, Capture NX-D and PS 2021 with PPW Panel
