Thanks Maya, glad you liked it. These little pastries are irresistible so I had to photograph them with all their wonderful colours.

Location
We purchased these lovely treats from our local Italian supermarket for a birthday celebration. They always have a wonderful selection and colours along with the enticing choice makes them hard to resist.Time
I took the shot on the balcony in the afternoon before our guests arrived. .Lighting
The light was beautifully balanced with no harsh sunlight. I use this position for most of my food and art photography as the sky is clear, with a Northern light and I have no shadows to worry about.Equipment
I used my Nikon DSLR D5100 with my Sigma 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 lens. No flash, on auto exposure. No tripod.Inspiration
I loved the colour and pattern of these little tasty treats. The variety made them so interesting.Editing
I processed them in raw but did not do a lot of post processing except checking the levels and sharpness. In my camera bag
I don't carry a lot of equipment with me while travelling on long haul so no tripod. Just my Nikon D5100 with both my standard lens and my Sigma zoom lens 18-250mm. I find these two lens are quite adequate for what I need.Feedback
I love taking pictures of all the fresh produce in the supermarket (after asking permission of course) and the wonderful bakery items. Also markets are wonderful places to get some really unusual photographs.
