Nature Seascape photography. Taken on one of my local beaches on the Isle of Anglesey off the north wales mainland in the UK. This dawn perspective of a sunrise speckled by growing storm cloud was taken in the moments just after sun break on the Summer Solstice in 2021. It is one of a number od shots i took that day while cloud watching . The image was considered and planned for the most absorbing composition in terms of the positioning of land and sea. Local knowledge and the chance to walk the beach , stop , stand or sit in various spots surveying the angles of the tide , rural skyline and the area with the most well positioned rocks in the foreground were all plotted in my head to be able to use this vista as a perspective for this beach in various weather conditions and at particular times of day. " MY Spot ", is very versatile as I can manage to create many interesting aspects of this beach turning 360 degrees and sitting or standing. This shot was taken from ground level , with a low pov and the wide angle lens tilted towards the direction of the mountain and passing clouds to produce an interesting variety in colour , light and depth. I took various unedited shots using differing exposures, the colours of the longer exposures were more intense but I prefer the natural cloud formations and jagged ripples of the water in this shorter exposure . landscape photography at sunrise
