Nature landscape Photography. A close up and intimate portrait of a waterfall emerging between the vivid greens of moss and lime in a forest just outside the pretty town of Llanrwst in North Wales , UK taken using telephoto settings and as much zoom as possible while retaining the clarity of the image at a mid range POV , handheld and precariously standing on the edge of the step ledge on the way to the waterfalls basin. Grey Mare's Tail , the name of the falls , is viewed through the glowing lime tree leaves which create a shallow depth effect because the image was shot with the natural sunlight high and behind the subjects . it was a creative choice to use a short exposure creating a natural water blur instead of soft water sheen.
