Abstract Landscape Photography at Sunset. Taken on the shore of the mouth of the Inland Sea , a coastal inlet between the town of Valley and the Port of Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey , off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. this image involved a lot of timing and local knowledge because it needed to be taken at a time when both the weather conditions and the tide times coincided. If you have ever visited Wales you will know that we have a lot of inclement weather and though the landscape and coastline can offer the perfect view for a sunset it is quite rare to get one just at the right time even in Summer. the image was taken using double exposure settings in a handheld position from a very low POV with a tilted angle allowing the leading lines to progress to the sun in one direction , to the mountain from the view over the rocks in the foreground. By choosing DE over a long exposure it enhanced the details of the reflected light and the purity of the bokeh elements which could have become blurred in a shot taken over a longer time period. This is the unedited version of this landscape, the re are various unedited shots all from the same position but with the lens angle changed to allow for the natural manipulation of the light to do the creative work of changing both the colour and the hue.
