Location
The photo was taken in an abandoned country house on the outskirts of my city, Xativa, Spain.Time
The photo was taken in the afternoon, in early February.Lighting
Era un interior, donde se colaba la luz del día por los huecos de las ventanas, aunque para la toma puse un foco en una de las ventanas para conseguir que la pared estuviese más iluminadaEquipment
For this photo I used the Olympus E3 with the Zuiko 12-60 lens, plus tripod and a fixed light for the shadow.Inspiration
A few days earlier I had seen the graffiti, and it had caught my attention, so I went back prepared with a tripod, a spotlight to illuminate the scene and a cutout in the shape of the figure to cast the shadow on the wall below the graffiti.Editing
Yes, after the relay in capture one, I passed it to photoshop to edit it a little bit improving the image slightly. In my camera bag
As Olympus is a brand with relatively small equipment, I usually carry a lot of equipment with me: 2 camera bodies, currently the OM System OM1 + the Olympus OMD E-M1X, along with the M.zuiko 7-14mm f2.8, 12-40mm f2.8, 40-150mm f2.8, the 150-400mm f4.5 telephoto lens and the 60mm macro, plus 2 converters and several filters.Feedback
In this case, I wanted to do more than just photograph graffiti on an abandoned house, and I introduced an element in the shot, in this case it was the shadow of a figure, but it could have been a model for example.
