Location
The photo was taken at the Bayas beach, Asturias, Spain.Time
The photo was taken late in the afternoon, while waiting for the sun to set.Lighting
Since it was cloudy, the light was soft, which allowed me to see the shadows well, even though it was backlit.Equipment
I used an Olympus OMD E-M1X with an M.zuiko 7-14mm wide angle lens at 7mm. Also use a manfrotto 055 tripod.Inspiration
We were walking along the Bayas beach, looking for the stones that abound in the place, looking for the shapes, and when I found this one with some water surrounding it and reflected in the stagnant water, I had no choice but to take a picture of it.Editing
Yes, I developed the photo with capture one, and then I edited it a little more in photoshop to highlight the contrasts and bring out some light in the grove in the background. In my camera bag
By using Olympus, the equipment is quite small in size, which I take advantage of to carry more equipment in my backpack. I usually carry 2 camera bodies: the OMD E-M1x and the OM-1, plus I carry a wide angle M.zuiko 7-14 f/2.8, an all-rounder m.zuiko 12.40 f/2.8, a tele zoom M.zuiko 40-150 f/2.8 and a telephoto m.zuiko 300mm f/4, I also carry a macro m.zuiko 60mm and a fisheye meike 6.5mm. Apart from 2 Olympus multipliers, the EC-14 and the EC-20.Feedback
Be attentive to the place, and if you see something interesting, try to stop and take pictures, look for angles and light. Don't forget to take a picture of the place, otherwise you will regret not having taken advantage of the moment.
