Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo in Paris.
Time
It was starting to get dark in the late winter afternoon.
Lighting
The lighting was dim, the building had some lighted windows.
Equipment
For this photo I had used Canon EOS 600D with EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II
Inspiration
I like architectural photography. When I'm in a big city, I stroll through the modern neighborhoods.
Editing
Yes! Post production added great value to this photo! I made the facade of the building darker, a dark blue, and the illuminated window much lighter (yellow), obtaining this almost dramatic nocturnal effect, which is well associated with the idea of "insomnia".
In my camera bag
Normally I have in my backpack: Canon 6D Mark II, Canon 24-105, Tamron 17-35mm, Sigma 105mm f/2.8.I rarely use telephoto (with the camera body Canon EOS 600D), because my favorite genre is architecture.
Feedback
Architectural photography is based on geometric patterns, and its secret is the cutting of the image. In my case I wanted to create a story to embellish the photo, but this can rarely happen.
