Location
I took this photo in Massa, a city in Tuscany, Italy. It is a small city, with a neighborhood of old houses, around which modern buildings like this one have been built.Time
I took this photo on a sunny morning.Lighting
The sunlight was strong, reflecting off the walls of the building, coming slightly from above. Only the window had a shadowed part.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 600D with a zoom 55-250. Without a tripod being in full light.Inspiration
I am a big fan of minimalist architectural photography, and this building with such particular colors has attracted me for a long time.Editing
The photo was post-produced with an editing program. The colors and shapes of the image are natural ones. The sky was blue and cloudless. On the other hand, in the yellow wall and the pink balcony there were small worn areas, which have been eliminated to make the photo uniform. In my camera bag
Normally I have in my backpack: Canon 6D Mark II, Canon 24-105, Tamron 17-35mm, Sigma 105mm f/2.8.I rarely use telephoto (with the camera body Canon EOS 600D), because my favorite genres are architecture, beach photography and landscape.Feedback
The photography of minimalist architecture is based on the research of small glimpses of buildings, which present interesting shapes and colors. The cut that must be given to the image is also fundamental, the less things are put inside the image, the more an interesting effect is obtained.
