Later that same day on April 18th I returned and could see the chick looking out at the new world. This would be the last I would see and capture these two bird as the nest was empty the nest day and they had flown away. Sometimes they will return the next year to hatch their own chicks in the same nest but I did not see that occur. Hope you enjoyed this series. It had been featured at several exhibitions in Texas.
