Parida Cave located on the Rio Grande River has small pictographs in the Pecos River Style. After capturing the original I converted it using ImageJ and Dstretch to expand the color space to RGB that allows enhanced appreciation of the serpentine colors in the 4 anthropomorphs above the cross hatched design. This enhanced program of stretching the color space has allowed us to find details in these ancient 4,000 year old pictographs we could not see before.
