Location
Very early on the Island of Noirmoutier. I'm waiting the sunset, I don't know exactly how it will be, because it' a little cloudy. At the end, the light is almost interesting. I'm ready for a long exposure with my tripod. In my head, I hope a vaporous effect on the rocks with the movement of the waves I like the blue light with a hint of yellow. Far away, the little sailboat brings a human and holiday touch.Time
This is sunset, early, nobody around except some fischermen.Lighting
I was very intersted by the pixture of blue and yellow. I realised that, soon, the sun would be rise, so, this special light will be ephemeral. I must take quickly the picture to capture the atmosphere of this sunset.Equipment
I use a Nikon D 300S, a Nikkor lens DX 16- 85 mm and a tripod Benco with Nisi filters for the long exposure.Inspiration
I hoped a dreamy and soft atmospher because of the light.Editing
I accentuated the colors. I accentuated the sharpness on the rocks to increase the relief in contrast to the blury movement of the wavesIn my camera bag
My Nikon D300S, two zoom lenses : Nikkor DX 16-85 mm, Nikkor 70-200mm VR II, a teleconverter Nikon. A benco tripod with a Manfrotto head. A nisi filters holder V6 with a polarizer filter and some long exposure filters.Feedback
It's sometime difficult to find the good exposure time : try again and again. If it does'nt work, I come back an other day and Istart again. It' s important to have in mind an idea of what we want before take the picture, even if, sometimes, the result is a surprise (good or not...) Every day, I try to take picture and I hope to improve by practising.
