Behind The Lens

Location

this picture was taken in the desert of "Sugar Dunes" in the Sultanate of Oman

Time

Very early morning

Lighting

The light was great, and the wind was blowing hard : It was quite dangerous for the camera !

Equipment

Nikon D 300 S, Nikkor DX 16 - 85 mm

Inspiration

The wind cloud was so beautiful, poetic, almost like an unreal atmosphere

Editing

Yes, a little :To better see the cloud of sand, I acted on the highlights and a little accentuation on the sand to increase the graphic effect

In my camera bag

Nikon D300 S, Nikkor 16 - 85 mm, Nikkor 70 - 200 mm VR II, TC 20 E III, tripod.

Feedback

Spending several nights in the desert allows you to soak up the silence, and developed, for me, a particular attraction for this type of region. It's unique, and helps to become aware of the land forces: it's strong ! (Sorry for my poor Enlish !)
