Trip to Oman : Discover the desert was a great experience, wonderful and fascinating. Sometimes, I like looking for small things behind immensity and this picture is very graphic.

This photo was taken in Wahiba desert in Oman country. A wonderful place. I like desert. Nowhere else, humans seem so small in an infinite world. Farm from the rough world, it's so calm, without noise. A great spirit of peace dominate everything.Time
It was very early, whe can see that with the very long shadows of the herbs. The sun was just rising.Lighting
Because of the rising sun, the light was incredible, not too heavy as we can see it later in the day. The shadows was very long and the movement of sand was very sharp with a high definition.Equipment
I used my Nikon D 300S and my Nikkor 70-200 mm VR II : Aperture f/11?ISO 100?Shutter 1/125?Focal Length 850/10. No tripod.?Inspiration
The graphism of sand, the shadows and the different patterns of the dune. This photo is also asymbol of life. In this very hostile environement, the herb leaves with no water. In the same spitit, we see some animals tracks , how they leave here ? it's incredible !Editing
The patterns of sand was naturally cut by the light, but I use more sharpness and contrast to accentuate that. I like very sharp photos !In my camera bag
I always use the same camera : my Nikon D 300S, a lense 16-85 mm Nikkor, a lense 70-200 mm Nikkor, a tripod, filters. But : GREAT NEWS, soon I will use a Nikon Z7 II, I am very exciting about that and I hope some amazing pictures !Feedback
Observe more and more. There is nothing so immense as a desert. But this photo is a detail, it's necessary to see just in front of the feets to discover something amazing like this movement in the dune. Observe and always looking for something else. Just looking through the camera's viewfinder and taking the picture can make a nice picture, but it's not a great shot if it doesn't convey a special emotion.
