I don't usually take pictures of my food, but I was proud of making this home-made cherry pie. As a child, I was sure that Grandma only made cherry pies for me because they were my favorite. Hers were much prettier than mine with fancy lattice tops but this one did satisfy a craving and gave my family some happy memories discussing Grandma's specialty dishes.
