Behind The Lens

Location

First i want to thank everybodo who vote on my photo, i am very happy with that I take this photo in Hattum, Nederland afcourse in the evening and it was early in the year and a little bit cold. That was the reasen that there where not so much people in the town.

Time

This was about 8.00 pm because it was already early dark in the evening

Lighting

Not realy. I used normal 100 asa and a very long exposure and also a small apature for more sharpnes in the foreground and the background

Equipment

I used my Nikon d7200 and i think my wide angle zoomlens from nikon. This wide angle lens give also a very sharpnes in the back and foreground. Very importment for me is using a very heavy tripod from Benro and a remote control.

Inspiration

Nightphotos inspire me always and specially the colors of the lights and the moving lights from cars trams, trains etc

Editing

I always post processing my photos in Photoshop, but you can also use other programs for free. When i put my name on it it says me that this photo from me is ready for publising. I say always you dont take a photo but you make a photo.

In my camera bag

It depence what i am going to photograph. When i am going to photograph in the night, i dont take my stuf with me to take macro photos for exaple. For this photo i take with me my backpack with my Nikon d 7200 with a standard lens and a wide angle lens, my tripod and remote control. Dont forget to take with you a smal light.

Feedback

Yes i have when you take nightphotos put your camera or lens on manual sharpnes. I program my own camera with separate shutter release. When its sharp it stays sharp and you can make more photos without to sharpnes again. It have a name and you can find it on google. I use it always. What i am sometimes doing is i take with me a separate flashlight and you can paint with the flash. When the shutter speed is 30 seconds you can walk trough your photo to flash some objects. Also with this long time you have not so much gohsts. Gohsts are people they walk trough your photo but when they are walking normal, you dont see them on your photo
